Flights to Costa Rica:
While airlines cut routes, new flights have been added to Costa
Rica for 04/05. Continental has direct flights from Houston and
Newark. United from L.A. and Chicago. American from Dallas
and Miami. Delta from Atlanta & America West from Phoenix.

From San Jose:
Rancho Pacifico Outfitters is located about 100 miles from the
capital city of San Jose, just outside of Dominical, on the Pacific
Ocean. There are two options for getting there:
1. You can rent a car in San Jose and drive to Dominical - about
3.5 hours. It is a beautiful drive over the Central Mountain
range on a two lane mountain road - it is all paved.

2. You can take a beautiful, short flight on SANSA AIRLINES directly to Palmar, a town just
20 miles south of Rancho Pacifico. At this writing, the daily flight from San Jose depart 9:45
AM and arrives 10:25. All of our inclusive packages include this flight as well as a private
pickup at Palmar for transport to Rancho Pacifico. The flight path heads to Quepos and
then turns left for a dramatic coast hugging route south

If easy is what you are looking for, you will arrive in San Jose, spend a comfortable night
near the airport (included in all of our packages), and fly down to RP the next morning.

Returning to the U.S.
It is best to try to get the latest departure you can from San Jose. The flight from Palmar to
San Jose is around 10:45 AM and arrives around 11:25. If your return flight to the states is
early, you will have to leave Rancho Pacifico the afternoon before, either by car or by the
afternoon flight from Quepos (28 miles from Rancho Pacifico)
