Figure on about two to a pound!!
We were pulling up along a local fishing dock when we spotted a bucket full of these tasty morsels....as luck would have it our fisherman friend had his lovely girlfriend with him - who was happy to pose with this trophy. Shrimp like this are common in this part of Costa Rica - especially near the mouths of numerous small rivers that flow through our area...the locals go after them at night reaching under rocks - and risking fairly serious nips....oh, but the reward!!!
