| Arrival (Day 1) : Typically flights from the U.S. arrive San Jose late afternoon and throughout the evening. You will be greeted at the International airport and taken to a comfortable hotel just 5 minutes from the airport. Day 2 : Begin with a five minute shuttle ride back to the airport for the commuter flight via Sansa Air to Palmar Sur. The flight is 40 minutes and the scenery is breathtaking. You will be picked up by private transportation at the airstrip in Palmar Sur for the 30 minute spectacular ride to your hotel. Either choose to fish a half day, or settle in at the hotel, explore the beach or rainforest - or relax by the pool. Get to bed early and be ready for the first day of fishing. Last Night : Enjoy dinner at one of the close-by cosmopolitan restraunts and be ready for pick up at 8am the next morning by private transportation for the ride to Palmar Sur Airport and your homebound flight. Options: 1. Stay on for a couple of more days of exploring and/or relaxing in Dominical. We can make complete arrangements for a variety of activities including horseback riding, hiking to waterfalls, sea kayaking, canopy tours and snorkeling or diving. 2. Move on to other parts of Costa Rica for additional exploration. Non-Fishing Companions: There is plenty to do without fishing! We will adjust rates to accomodate couples travelling together where only one wishes to fish. We will even arrange activities that will excite and delight so everyone goes home happy! |
| The packages have been designed for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days of fishing. They are all-inclusive (except for dinners) and are intended to maximize fishing time while minimizing travel hassles. 3, 4 and 5 day itineraries can be combined with exclusive backcountry overnights at our remote luxury tent camps. |
